Job Overview As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for data/text mining, analysis, and business intelligence. Your primary objective will be to enable informed business decisions by applying statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. You will have the opportunity to work with moderate supervision, making arrangements from initial concept to production, and communicating results to a broad range of audiences. Key Responsibilities Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources, gaining insights into key business issues and expectations. Utilize current and emerging technologies to assess trends and develop significant insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the data available for analysis. Drive navigation by regularly using data, statistical, and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management. Mentor less senior staff, work in cross-functional teams and projects, and regularly present to management. Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processes to support business intelligence and analytics. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions to address them. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance. You should also have at least 3 years of work experience in estimation and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis. Essential Skills and Competencies Proficiency in analysis software and applications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies. Experience with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; numerical analysis; discrete data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and basic accounting knowledge.
