About the Role We are actively recruiting for multiple Senior Customer Service Representative opportunities within our Policyholder Services and Long Term Care Claims departments. As a Senior Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering world-class customer service and capabilities to our policyholders. You will be the voice of blithequark, responsible for providing timely and accurate information, processing transactions, and resolving complex customer issues. Key Responsibilities Service customer inquiries via incoming phone calls and written correspondence, providing timely and accurate information to resolve customer issues. Process transactions to meet customer needs, including address changes, stop payments, and related correspondence. Initiate daily contact with internal and external customers, working to simplify and educate customers on product features and related processes. Diffuse escalated situations through analyzing, partnering, and resolving complex customer issues. Review, analyze, and process written requests and documentation, ensuring the integrity of customer accounts. Update and maintain accurate records, including call follow-up, documentation, and work item management. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a call-center environment. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. A professional and empathetic demeanor is essential, particularly when interacting with customers, including the elderly population. You should be able to handle multiple tasks and assignments with deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred. Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred. Previous experience with HIPAA requirements preferred. Completion of the National Retail Federation's Certification in Customer Service & Sales preferred. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $43,200 to $66,400, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan, with a target earning opportunity of 5% of your base compensation.
