Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster - Transportation, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of up to 150 pending claims, which may include complex cases requiring meticulous investigation, analysis, and negotiation. Your primary objectives will include: Establishing facts of loss, conducting coverage analysis, and determining compensability, liability, and negligence Coordinating medical care, managing litigation, and assessing damages Conducting timely and accurate reserve analysis and report completion Identifying potential fraud and ensuring the appropriate use of authorized vendors Attending conferences, client meetings, and mentoring other adjusters as requested Maintaining current claim metrics and adhering to state statutes, client claims handling guidelines, and NARS best practices Essential Qualifications and Experience To excel in this role, you should possess: A high school diploma or equivalent, with a 2-year degree or higher preferred At least 5 years of prior claim adjusting experience, preferably in commercial auto or trucking Heavy litigation experience (5+ years) for all lines except Workers' Compensation A Florida Adjuster's license or the ability to obtain one, as well as other required jurisdictional licensing Technical Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Exceptional negotiation and litigation skills, with the ability to direct litigation and work with attorneys and arbitration on first and third-party claims Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to auditors, clients, and potential clients Proficiency in organization and time management, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to fostering a culture of growth and development.
