About the Role This position is part of the Technology Transformation group within the Information Technology Division, a critical component of American Airlines' strategic initiatives. As a Senior Analyst, you'll work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to enable the technology vision and mission. Your primary responsibility will be to provide analytical insights, develop and manage scorecards, and track the progress of the company's technology transformation, ultimately informing leaders and executives with data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities Define and track performance metrics, develop scorecards, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance technology transformation Create reporting and models to inform decision-making and strategy, leveraging data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI Integrate and manage large data sets to provide insights and recommendations to technology and business leaders, facilitating informed decision-making Collaborate with data analytics teams across the organization to develop and implement strategies, forecast models, and promote "best practices" within technology and product group processes Complete other related projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, developing dashboards and scorecards Proven experience using data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and drive results Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training Experience developing effective reporting and scorecards for leaders and teams at all levels, including executives Familiarity with DevOps Research & Assessment (DORA) and other engineering metrics Experience working with agile development teams Skills and Competencies To excel as a Senior Analyst, you'll need: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time Career Growth and Benefits At American Airlines, you'll have access to a range of benefits and opportunities that support your professional growth and well-being.
