Job Summary We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you'll work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' social, emotional, and academic challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social and emotional challenges, promoting positive behavior and academic success. Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support students' social and emotional well-being, ensuring their needs are met and addressed. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' needs, develop strategies for support, and promote positive relationships. Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being. Advocate for students' rights and access to resources, promoting equity and inclusivity in the learning environment. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other student support team meetings, ensuring students receive comprehensive support and services. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution. State Licensure as a Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) , demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or mental health setting, showcasing your ability to connect with students and families. Strong interpersonal and communication skills , enabling you to build relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
