About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Intern - Sales & Business Support to join our team in Florida. As a remote-based position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in Florida, with occasional visits to our office in the Jacksonville area. This is an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge, working closely with our Sales team and being exposed to a wide variety of our corporate business areas. You will be responsible for supporting sales initiatives, performing administrative duties, and developing your skills in research, competitive analysis, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Sales team to gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily assignments, strategic projects, interactions with department leaders, and networking with employees across the US
Support Sales initiatives, including research, competitive analysis, proposal reviews, creating communications, reports, and presentations
Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling internal meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining spreadsheets
Develop and craft professional presentations and communication pieces, utilizing excellent communication and customer service skills
Work independently to bring projects to completion, demonstrating organizational, detail orientation, critical thinking, written/verbal communication skills, and time management skills
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written. You should be able to craft professional presentations and communication pieces, and have the ability to accept assignments and work independently to bring projects to completion. Intermediate Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, are also required. Additionally, you should be able to effectively interact with senior-level management and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
While no degree is required, you must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university. Experience creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations is also necessary. Preferred candidates will be sophomores or juniors working towards a business administration, finance, or health informatics degree.
