Identify and evaluate new data sources, including controlled and uncontrolled data, to enhance our risk management capabilities and business processes
Utilize industry best practices, regulatory feedback, and internal expertise to drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems
Present complex analysis and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external partners
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
A graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in risk management, data analysis, and business process improvement
Proven expertise in statistical, financial, and business intelligence methods, including data modeling, forecasting, and predictive analytics
Experience working with technical teams, including data scientists, engineers, and IT professionals
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency in MS Excel, Data Bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
Advanced degree in a related field, such as a Ph.D. or MBA
Professional certifications, such as FRM, CFA, or CFP
