Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Operations Manager Trainee and Coach to join our team in Sheridan, AR. As a critical member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your ability to model and demonstrate our service standards, provide clear guidance and feedback, and foster a culture of inclusion and respect will be essential to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Development: Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Provide feedback and coaching to enhance performance and achieve business objectives. Customer Service: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, ensuring that customer needs are met, and issues are resolved promptly. Develop and implement action plans to improve customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. Financial Performance: Drive the financial performance of the store by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing expenses, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Supervision and Development: Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing outstanding performance. Ensure diversity and inclusion awareness and promote a positive work environment. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans and provide direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices. Essential Qualifications 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
