Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a remote tutor with Workwarp, you'll need: Qualifications: Reading/English Tutors: An Education/Teaching degree or currently pursuing an Education degree with classroom observation or student teaching experience. Math Tutors: Proficiency in mathematics up to Algebra 2 (Education degree not required). Test Prep Tutors (ACT/SAT): A commendable ACT/SAT score (30/1400 preferred) without the necessity of an Education degree. Preferred: Minimum of one year teaching or tutoring experience. Skills and Competencies: Strong Ability to Connect with Students: Ability to build rapport with students, understand their needs, and tailor your teaching approach accordingly. Excellent Communication and Multitasking Abilities: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks to meet the needs of students and the educational team.
