We're now seeking an experienced and driven Senior Cloud Bookkeeper to join our talented team on a part-time basis. As a Senior Cloud Bookkeeper, you'll play a critical role in managing day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks for our clients. This part-time opportunity is ideal for US and Canadian-based individuals seeking a balance between their professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day operations for clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations. Utilize Karbon, our practice management system, to manage work across multiple clients and stay organized. Interact with clients to answer specific questions or request information, while maintaining excellent communication skills and building strong relationships. Collaborate with senior staff to ensure seamless client service and ask questions when needed to clarify tasks or procedures. Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines across multiple clients, demonstrating an awareness of what needs to be prioritized. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A college degree and experience in accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping in a multi-client environment. Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies, with at least 2 years of experience running payroll, paying bills, and handling day-to-day transactional duties with clients in multiple industries. Experience with QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, or other payroll software. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members across digital channels. Humility and openness to coaching and critiques, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and dependability. A positive attitude and joyful demeanor in all communications, both internally and externally. Persistence and the ability to politely remind others to stay on track. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Additional experience in cloud accounting technologies or related software. A proven track record of managing multiple clients and prioritizing tasks effectively. Experience working in a 100% remote environment.
