About Our Company and the Role
Workwarp, in partnership with Actalent, is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to work remotely on a full-time basis. As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in processing prescription exceptions, resolving claim rejects, and performing various tasks that support the utilization review team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, utilize your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and performing member and physician outreach
Enter member demographics and prescription information into our data processing system accurately and efficiently
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues in a timely and professional manner
Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls, providing excellent customer service and support
Collaborate with the utilization review team to ensure compliance with authorization guidelines and varying coverage types (State, Medicaid, Medicare)
Essential Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Current State License and National Certification (CPhT or ExCPT)
Strong computer skills and proficiency in using various software applications
High-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a remote or telephonic environment
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, insurance billing, and authorization guidelines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and internal teams
