Experienced Remote Overnight Emergency Radiologist - Night Shift Coverage for Renowned Healthcare Institution

About Our Institution and the Role Cleveland Clinic is one of the world's largest and busiest health centers, attracting patients from all over the globe. Our institution is recognized for its expertise and care in various medical specialties and subspecialties. As a Remote Overnight Emergency Radiologist, you will be part of our Division of General Radiology, which encompasses an extensive system of community hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, and imaging centers in the Greater Cleveland/Akron, Ohio area, as well as Cleveland Clinic Florida sites. The Overnight Section, where you will be working, is a collegial group with low turnover, highly appreciated and supported by department leadership. Our team consists of 13 radiologists, including 3 neuroradiologists and 2 pediatric radiologists, allowing for a team mentality approach to a common worklist, case sharing, and second opinions. The core schedule for this role is 7 days on, followed by 14 days off, with overnight shifts spanning from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. EST. Key Responsibilities and Duties Interpret STAT/ER cases for multiple Cleveland Clinic hospitals and emergency departments as part of the overnight shift. Maintain a focus on team stat exam turnaround time rather than RVU metrics, ensuring manageable workloads and adequate staffing to allow for quality outcomes. Participate in a core schedule of 7 days on, followed by 14 days off, with occasional emergency back-up for colleagues throughout the calendar year. Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360), and EMR (EPIC), to efficiently and effectively interpret cases. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: American Board of Radiology Certification or Eligibility. Fellowship training in a relevant area, although practicing radiologists with applicable skills and experience will be considered. Previous overnight or after-hours experience is preferred. The salary range for this position is $400K-$525K, with the actual compensation determined after considering various factors, including work history, experience, skill set, and board certification.
