About Our Company and the Role IntellaTriage is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through our Nurse Advice Line services. Our team of experienced RNs works remotely to provide critical support to patients and healthcare providers across the country. As a part-time NAL Triage RN with our company, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care, while also enjoying the benefits of working from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care and support through our Nurse Advice Line, assessing patient needs and offering guidance and recommendations as needed. Work a minimum of one shift per weekday (Monday to Friday) with preferred scheduling for weekday requirements. Be available to work two out of every three weekends, with rotating shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Participate in a comprehensive three-week training program, which includes paid orientation and training sessions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, utilizing our remote call center technology to document patient interactions. Communicate effectively with patients and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding while adhering to client protocols. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, handling a high volume of calls during peak periods. Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements, attending in-services and additional training sessions as needed. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A current Compact RN license (or be willing to obtain one) and reside in a Compact state. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., ED, Critical Care, Surgical Services, or Med/Surg). High-speed internet connectivity (fiberoptic or coaxial cable) and a quiet, private workspace free from distractions. Proficiency in using technology, including remote call center software and multiple applications. Excellent typing skills and the ability to navigate complex systems efficiently. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus). The ability to work independently, managing stress and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience working in a Nurse Advice Line or similar telehealth environment. Additional certifications or specialized training in a relevant area (e.g., pediatrics, gerontology).
