A Unique Opportunity for a Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our purpose by providing exceptional service to our patients and customers. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while being part of a dynamic team that's making a difference in healthcare. Key Responsibilities Call Management: Review and identify issues from calls into our telephony system in a timely manner (50% of your time). Workflow Management: Maintain a working knowledge of our workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate appropriately (10% of your time). Customer Service: Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately while providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10% of your time). Payment Transactions: Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10% of your time). Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10% of your time). Collaboration: Work closely with your supervisor and team members to ensure seamless communication and support. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Medical Revenue Cycle Experience: 1+ year of experience in medical revenue cycle. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer software, including workflow systems and telephony systems. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Medical Revenue Cycle Experience: 2+ years of experience in medical revenue cycle. Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
