About the Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering holistic, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, from 18 months and above. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing accurate assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and management of health problems, as well as health counseling and disposition planning. Key Responsibilities Provide holistic, evidence-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis, and prescribing, mental health counseling, and disposition planning for patients. Serve as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives, developing programs and providing process improvement insights as a key expert in both acute care and behavioral health services. Provide oversight of behavioral health care, including quality and training to new providers, and educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries. Document all patient care within an electronic health record (EHR) according to MinuteClinic policies and procedures, and provide care and coordination of patients with internal and external colleagues. Effectively work within a patient care team, including fellow Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team, to ensure the highest standard of care is provided for all patients. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must hold a current, unrestricted license and reside in Oklahoma. You should have a minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent, and be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, such as Spanish. A Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner and Psych-Mental Health program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse roles is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a virtual care setting or telehealth platform. Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and proficiency in documenting patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess strong clinical skills, including the ability to accurately assess, diagnose, and treat patients. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
