Job Overview
This is a remote, part-time tutoring role that offers a competitive pay rate of $35 per hour of tutoring and $20 per hour of predetermined admin/prep time. As a Framework tutor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, with sessions occurring during the school day, after school, evenings, and weekends. You will be working with a supportive team and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, live tutoring services to students in 1:1 and/or small group settings
Conduct tutoring sessions ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour in length
Create a virtual learning environment that is safe, accepting, fun, and interactive
Deliver curriculum in a clear and engaging manner
Monitor and adapt instruction to meet student needs
Administer provided assessments according to a predetermined schedule
Maintain professional and timely communication with the Framework Tutor Ops Team
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Must hold a current and valid teaching license - expired licenses are not accepted
Must reside and work in the U.S.
Must have a working computer, mic, and camera, as well as reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free environment
Ability to pass a federal-level background check, which may include fingerprinting
Proficiency utilizing online platforms and virtual teaching tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior online tutoring experience
Bi-lingual abilities
