Job Overview We're looking for a talented IT Support Specialist to play a critical role in managing and enhancing our global IT infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our systems, managing the technical needs of our remote workforce, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive service desk support on a global scale, managing access controls for information systems and ensuring seamless IT operations. Oversee remote workstations to guarantee the deployment of Antivirus, Firewalls, Backups, Disk Encryption, Applications, and Security Updates through Mobile Device Management (MDM). Supervise the inventory management of laptops and devices across a geographically distributed team, handling procurement, setup, and returns. Manage the procurement and renewal of software licenses and cloud subscriptions for end users, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate critical tasks across various time zones to facilitate operational efficiency and ensure timely resolution of IT issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve ICT-related challenges and foster continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in IT service delivery. Partner with compliance and information security teams to implement and uphold IT and security protocols, ensuring adherence to SOC 2 standards and security best practices. Assist senior leadership in identifying deficiencies in services, compliance, and security measures, providing recommendations for improvement. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in technical support or IT service desk environments, particularly with SaaS tools in distributed settings. Advanced expertise with the Microsoft technology stack, including troubleshooting remote end-user issues across Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office, and Azure identity management. Strong skills in automation and scripting, coupled with a desire to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The capacity to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaboratively solving problems and driving resolution. Proven proficiency in working independently as well as within a globally dispersed team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing process transformations to achieve compliance and security objectives, with a strong understanding of IT and security protocols. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: A proven background in administering SaaS tools within distributed environments, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies. Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and a strong understanding of IT service desk best practices. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
