About the Role We're looking for an experienced Remote Hotel Customer Service Specialist to deliver exceptional service to our clients on substantial loss assignments, which require coordination of multiple departments and functions. As a Remote Hotel Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will serve as a resource for all concierge functions and systems, providing exceptional customer service and coordinating hotel stays within budget provided by insurance companies. This role requires nights and a weekend day, so we're looking for someone who is flexible and able to work a non-traditional schedule. Key Responsibilities Triage substantial residential and commercial property losses by assessing client needs and serving as the point of contact for a variety of clientele. Provide exceptional customer service and coordinate hotel stays within budget provided by insurance companies. Coordinate with other support departments to ensure seamless transactions for clients, monitoring the job throughout the entire process to ensure adherence to procedures of the referring client. Assist with special projects and training of new colleagues on processes and systems. Attend work during scheduled hours, including nights and a weekend day. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by management. Support the organization's quality program(s) and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED. Three (3) years of customer concierge or claims customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of concierge department systems and processes, as well as detailed knowledge of other support departments. Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and handle conflict, with excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products, and strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
