Join the blithequark Team as a Remote Hospitality Customer Service Agent blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Customer Service Agent to join our team on a part-time basis. As a customer-facing representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. As a Hospitality Customer Service Agent with blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable and satisfying stay. Key Responsibilities: Respond to 10-20 calls per day between 9am - 9pm PST, with 1-2 hours of computer work at 8pm PST, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays Provide accurate and helpful information to guests, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner Log tasks into "notes" to notify housekeepers of cleaning tasks and maintenance personnel of needed maintenance Notify employer about urgent issues, such as same-day and next-day cancellations, date changes, lockouts, etc. Participate in the group chat on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, providing early check-in to guests who request it if units are ready Check and respond to Airbnb messages twice a day on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and check messages on all other channels and perform computer work once a day at 6-7 pm Read and answer Airbnb and VRBO reviews once a week, logging all negative comments Assign housekeeping shifts based on the daily report Send an email to the employer at the end of the day (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) with any issues that required authorization/help or a "nothing to report" email Requirements: Essential Qualifications: Experience in hospitality customer service (please describe your experience, including the number of years and type of customer service) Knowledge of how to use the HOST SIDE of Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and Expedia websites (please describe your experience with these platforms) Knowledge of Beds24 software (please describe your experience with this platform, including how long you have used it and when) Availability to work 3 days a week (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) with a flexible schedule Must be located in the PST time zone Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working as a host on Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and Expedia Familiarity with hospitality industry software and systems Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in a remote setting Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
