A Day in the Role As a Client Coordinator at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to process medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews, and extract data to enter into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. You will work in a metrics-driven environment, where you will be expected to meet quotas and ensure timely completion of tasks. Your day will be filled with a variety of activities, including: Handling incoming cases and extracting data from medical documents Entering data into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word Working independently and in partnership with other team members to address questions and ensure timely completion of tasks Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone Key Responsibilities As a remote healthcare data entry specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Processing medical documents and extracting data for entry into our electronic database Meeting quotas and ensuring timely completion of tasks in a metrics-driven environment Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone Working independently and in partnership with other team members to address questions and ensure timely completion of tasks Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims (preferred) High School Diploma or equivalent Reliable high-speed internet and a computer or laptop for use in this role Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Remote healthcare experience in insurance, claims, or a related field Experience working with electronic databases and Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word Previous experience in a contract-to-hire or temporary work environment Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail : You will need to be able to accurately extract data from medical documents and enter it into our electronic database Organizational skills : You will need to be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet quotas and ensure timely completion of tasks Communication skills : You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone Technical skills : You will need to be proficient in using computers, spreadsheets, and electronic databases Critical thinking skills : You will need to be able to use critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
