The Opportunity As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the frontline representative for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support via inbound phone calls. This is a permanent work-from-home role that requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, communication skills, and empathy. Key Responsibilities Perform PCP Change/Provider Lookup to assist members with healthcare provider information Look up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisites, and coverage Review Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, and more Process claims inquiries and resolve issues related to member billing Answer enrollment/disenrollment inquiries and provide guidance on healthcare plans Address Grievances/Complaints in a professional and empathetic manner Handle billing-related tasks, including making payments, transaction history, and premium inquiries Manage LEP inquiries and disputes, ensuring timely resolution Assist with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and Catalogs Provide self-help options, including guidance on member portal usage Offer local locations to pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist, enhancing the member experience Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 18 months of Call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting At least 2 years of Computer Experience in a work environment, demonstrating your ability to navigate multiple systems Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly The capacity to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A dedicated workspace at home, with a reliable internet connection (50 Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload speeds required) A strong display of empathy and care when interacting with customers Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, having a healthcare background can be a significant advantage in this role. If you have experience working in healthcare or a related field, you'll be well-positioned to understand the nuances of our clients' needs and provide exceptional support.
