What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
As a Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers seeking assistance. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely and appropriate care coordination. Here's what you can expect:

Patient Support & Triage

Handle after-hours calls with professionalism and urgency, triaging critical clinical needs of patients, caregivers, and referral sources
Assess the urgency of incoming calls and route them appropriately to ensure patients receive the right level of care
Provide compassionate and empathetic responses to patients and families during stressful situations
Document all interactions accurately in our computerized information systems


Care Coordination & Referrals

Support local Patient Registration teams with new patient referrals and ensure accurate information collection
Coordinate care information between team members, patients, caregivers, referral sources, and home health agencies
Facilitate smooth transitions of care by communicating essential details to the appropriate parties
Maintain comprehensive records of all patient interactions and referrals


Performance & Quality

Meet and exceed standardized performance metrics for calls and referrals
Provide consistent, high-quality customer service during all interactions
Maintain an organized file system for document tracking and patient management
Adhere to confidentiality protocols and protect patient information at all times


What We Are Looking For (Required Qualifications)
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:


Education: High school graduate or GED required
Experience: Minimum one year of previous call center experience (healthcare experience is a plus)
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong keyboarding skills
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Customer Service: Ability to promote a compassionate, caring, customer service-oriented culture
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of computerized information systems and ability to learn new software quickly
Workspace Requirements: Dedicated workspace that is quiet, professional, and free of distractions
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
