Design and develop assets that are both technically proficient and masterfully engaging, ensuring high-quality final results.
Work effectively in a team environment, communicating and implementing highly detailed art direction.
Demonstrate strong technical skills in achieving a directable aesthetic, with the ability to understand and interpret art direction.
Utilize knowledge of materials and procedural calculation to create realistic and engaging environments.
Apply expertise in texturing and digital painting to enhance the visual quality of our films.
Contribute to the development of shaders and have experience with physically based rendering.
Familiarity with the production pipeline, Maya, and Linux is essential, with character look development experience being a plus.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A bachelor's degree in computer graphics, fine arts, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in environment look development, with a focus on animation or video game production.
Excellent understanding of color, texture, and composition, with the ability to create visually stunning environments.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Maya, Linux, and other relevant software.
Experience with physically based rendering, shader writing, and procedural instancing.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
