Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Specialist – Accounts Payable Expert, you will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of all Accounts Payable programs. Your primary responsibilities will include entering vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into our SAP system, screening the AP email inbox, and collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing issues. You will also be responsible for preparing 1099 reports, ensuring accurate general ledger coding, and providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into SAP Screen AP email inbox to download vendor invoices and respond to vendor requests Review SAP reports (GRIR and MRBR) to ensure invoices are being processed timely and accurately Prepare 1099 reports and ensure all vendors have the required tax identification and W-9 information on record Collaborate with vendors in a timely and efficient manner Perform receipt entry (60% of the time) Provide vendor support (30% of the time) Perform occasional ongoing/special projects (10% of the time) Review receipt aging Ensure accurate general ledger coding Ensure accurate matching of purchase orders to invoices Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or a related field. You should also have at least 0-2 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a distribution or retail environment. SAP experience is preferred but not required. You should be able to handle a high volume of transactions, have strong Excel skills, and be able to develop accounting spreadsheets to track vendor activity.
