Experienced Remote Data Entry Operator / Typing Specialist – Part-Time Position for Gallatin Valley Food Bank

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Operator / Typing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering client data, services, and other relevant information into various databases. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will be essential in driving our success. Key Responsibilities Data Entry: Enter clients' personal data, services, and other relevant information into various databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Database Management: Search databases as needed, review intake forms for completeness, and update data systems with changes. Collaboration: Work closely with the Healthcare Admin Jobs Data and Compliance Coordinator for systems evaluation and implementation. Administrative Support: Perform other duties as assigned, including handling cash receipts, donations, postage, and petty cash. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: Language Skills: Read and comprehend basic instructions and present information to others. Mathematical/Money Handling Skills: Basic counting skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing simple numbers. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and databases, as well as internet and email usage. Preferred Qualifications: Typing Speed: 55 words per minute on a computer keyboard. Data Entry Speed: Display competency in data entry, including 10 keystrokes per minute. Specialized Office Equipment: Experience operating and programming fax machines, copy machines, and scanners. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with proprietary, custom, or online programs or databases, including Case Worthy and CDS.
