In this role, you will be responsible for conducting data analysis to inform business or product decisions, delivering effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple stakeholders, and developing and automating reports to provide insights at scale. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting statistical analysis to drive business or product decisions (e.g., cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting, impact assessment)
Delivering effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple stakeholders, developing visible signs of quantitative data
Developing and automating reports, iteratively building and prototyping dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, formulate and complete analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations
Helping Google make key decisions to enhance products and services
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A strong foundation in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences, etc.)
Experience working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.)
Ability to articulate product questions, pull statistics from datasets (SQL), and use statistics to attain an answer
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
Currently attending a degree program within the United States and available to work full-time for 12 weeks outside of university term time
In your penultimate academic year or returning to a point program after completion of the internship
Ability to translate assessment outcomes into business enterprise guidelines
Interest and capability to work with statistics, metrics, assessment, and developments, and finished knowledge of measurement, statistics, and application assessment
Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills, with great business judgment
