Work on the Dataworks platform, managing the ingestion, transformation, and pipelining of data assets, both for internal and external users
Conduct code reviews and contribute to large-scale organizations, ensuring best practices and high-quality code
Provide guidance and mentorship to less senior team members, sharing expertise and knowledge
Investigate performance issues, data-related problems, and provide level 3 support, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Technical expertise in software engineering, programming, database systems, and distributed systems
Strong understanding of transportation and operations space, with the ability to identify high-opportunity areas and design approaches and solutions that create and capture value
Experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, PySpark, and Python, with experience working with high-volume data tools like HDFS, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL storage devices
