Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Transportation Examination group, a Business Intelligence team that supports the transportation department's daily operations. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping our clients navigate through billions of data points to make informed decisions promptly. You'll work on projects, provide insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Work with large, complex, and unique datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions rapidly Design and develop ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) or processes that pull data from various sources and consolidate it into one table Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of changes and special business initiatives Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on an occasional basis to establish credibility and collaborate on data accuracy, completion, and latency across different projects and systems Utilize scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks and create reports, including screenshots, metrics prioritization, and anomaly recognition Document your processes and share your knowledge with your peers, mentoring them as you become a subject matter expert Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity Creativity with a Customer Experience foundation to develop meaningful Scene Dashboards Business Acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business issues A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Advanced experience with SQL and Scene Experience with e-commerce operations or package carrier operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Scene Prep, and others Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
