Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Analyst to join our Strategic Analytics, Value and Economics (SAVEs) team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in performing healthcare claims-based analytics, including health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market-based assessment of diseases or treatment usage, and executing analyses in Medicare and Medicaid healthcare claims. Key Responsibilities Perform healthcare claims-based analytics, including health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market-based assessment of diseases or treatment usage, and other related tasks Execute analyses in Medicare and Medicaid healthcare claims, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Work independently to complete specific components of research and analysis to support project delivery, with minimal-to-moderate supervision Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results Develop and maintain datasets, reports, and other materials to support business decisions and strategic initiatives Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis, ensuring the team's work remains innovative and effective Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a healthcare, economic, or mathematics-related field, or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience working with SAS, SQL, or other relevant programming languages, with a strong understanding of data analysis and statistical concepts Experience working with healthcare datasets and performing quantitative research, with a strong ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent project management and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience working with data visualization tools and techniques Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in the healthcare or life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of the business and regulatory environment Knowledge of healthcare claims-based analytics, including health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market-based assessment of diseases or treatment usage, and other related areas Experience working with large datasets, including claims data, electronic health records, and other related sources Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js, with the ability to create interactive and dynamic dashboards and reports Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the business and regulatory environment, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At ADVI Health, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development, both personally and professionally.
