Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Transportation Examination group, a Business Intelligence team that supports the transportation's everyday tasks. As a Data Analyst, you'll assist our clients in navigating through billions of data points so they can make informed decisions promptly. You'll work with stakeholders and provide them with the insights they need to drive business success. Key Responsibilities Work with large, complex, and unique datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions rapidly Develop ETLs or processes that pull data from various sources and consolidate it into one table Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of changes and special business initiatives Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on an occasional basis to establish credibility and collaborate on data accuracy, completion, and latency across different projects and systems Utilize scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks and create reports, including screenshots, metrics prioritization, and anomaly recognition Document your processes and share your knowledge with your colleagues, mentoring them as you become a subject matter expert Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity Creativity with a Customer Experience foundation to develop meaningful Scene Dashboards Business Acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business issues A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced experience with SQL and Scene Experience with e-commerce operations or package carrier operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Scene Prep, and others Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
