Job Overview In this full-time, temp-to-hire role, you will be responsible for answering calls from participants regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services. You will gather, verify, evaluate, and enter necessary social, financial, and medical information into various applications, maintaining complete and accurate computerized records of participant interactions. As a key member of our team, you will perform a variety of diverse tasks while continuing to maintain currency and accuracy of program requirements, ensuring timely processing of participant inquiries and annual reviews to meet client needs and program mandates. Key Responsibilities: Answer calls from participants regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services Gather, verify, evaluate, and enter necessary social, financial, and medical information into various applications Maintain complete and accurate computerized records of participant interactions Perform a variety of diverse tasks while continuing to maintain currency and accuracy of program requirements Ensure timely processing of participant inquiries and annual reviews to meet client needs and program mandates Meet or exceed daily standards for performance, accuracy, customer service, and quality Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess basic office and computer skills, as well as exceptional communications and customer service skills, including the ability to handle client behaviors such as fear, hostility, and aggression. You should have knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles used in the calculation of public assistance benefits, as well as the general provisions, objectives, and philosophy of public assistance programs.
