About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative for CVS Health Clients, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support. You'll work closely with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve complex issues, process specialty drug requests, and provide timely and accurate information. Key Responsibilities


Provide exceptional phone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapies, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
Coordinate and manage new patient drug requests and reorders, verifying and updating benefits, and ensuring seamless processing.
Interpret and enter new or reordered prescriptions into our pharmacy data system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve complex issues, identify potential problems, and facilitate timely resolution.
Collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with patients to resolve any issues or concerns related to their medication.
Monitor and track orders, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the processing stage.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


At least one year of experience in a customer care role, handling and resolving complex customer needs via telephone.
Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web browsers, and email applications.
Strong typing skills, with a minimum of one year of PC keyboarding experience.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:


At least six months of experience resolving complex customer needs via telephone.
Healthcare work experience, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
Familiarity with pharmacy operations and procedures.
