Key Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via telephone, providing problem resolution in accordance with our service standards. Your duties will include: Answering customer telephone inquiries, orders, service needs, and complaints, and responding or directing them to technical or service areas as applicable Maintaining detailed and current knowledge of blithequark's products and services, as well as those of our assigned clients Analyzing customer service needs and communicating them to service and technical departments when necessary Navigating a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications to resolve customer issues efficiently Resolving basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests, including card activations, payments, name and address updates, and other customer inquiries Providing standardized or scripted responses using basic user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens for client systems and established documentation and processes Entering required data into client-provided systems and databases, and determining basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree Escalating or referring unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments for further investigation and resolution Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 6 months of minimum call center experience, either remote or onsite, within the last 18 months Ability to work in a US-based role only, with flexibility to work mid-shift to late shifts, including weekends, as part of your weekly schedule Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and resolution Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a call center environment, with a focus on customer service and resolution Knowledge of blithequark's products and services, as well as those of our assigned clients Experience with computerized data entry systems or other relevant applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and resolution Strong attention to detail, with the ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
