As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you'll be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members regarding their pensions and other financial benefits. Your key responsibilities will include: * Providing one-to-one inbound telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles * Periodically providing support through outbound calls as needed * Accurately documenting enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances * Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers as needed * Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency within client rules/guidelines and other related program policies * Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements **Benefits of this Role** As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour after training (bi-weekly pay) * Paid training with equipment provided * Full-time schedule (40 hours a week) * Career growth opportunities * Basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes * Full benefits package, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: * High School Diploma/GED * Must be 18 years of age * Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check * Previous customer service and/or call center experience * Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers * Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback * Achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment * Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds * Experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred * Ability to successfully complete paid training * Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-10pm EST, Monday-Friday **States Not Applicable for this Position** * AK, CA, HI, MA, IL, MT, NY * Metro Areas: MN- Minneapolis, IL, NY - NYC * OR - Portland, MD - Montgomery County, WA - Seattle, Washington, DC Met **Pay Transparency Laws** In some locations, pay transparency laws require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.
