Job Overview As a Remote CPR Instructor – Life-Saving Skills Coach, you'll play a critical role in our public safety education programs. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to small groups of students, ensuring that they're equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond in emergency situations. Key Responsibilities As a Remote CPR Instructor – Life-Saving Skills Coach, your key responsibilities will include: Delivering High-Quality Instruction: Provide clear, engaging, and high-quality instruction to small groups of students (4-12 students) in a variety of environments, including schools, offices, and medical facilities. Ensuring Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during each instructional session. Preparing and Organizing Equipment: Prepare and organize necessary equipment to facilitate effective courses. Responding to Emergencies: Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide necessary care when required. Cultivating Professional Relationships: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues. Communicating Effectively: Communicate effectively with management and facility operators regarding course logistics. Managing Inventory: Manage inventory, cleaning, and restocking of instructional equipment. Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Remote CPR Instructor – Life-Saving Skills Coach, you'll need: High School Diploma: A high school diploma is required. American Red Cross Certifications: Valid American Red Cross Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED (or equivalent from the American Heart Association). Instructor Certification: CPR, First Aid, AED Instructor Certification or higher (or equivalent from the American Heart Association). Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License. Physical Ability: Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching CPR, First Aid, or AED courses. Online Course Management: Experience with online platforms for course record management. Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage diverse learners.
