Job Summary As a Remote Carnival Cruise Customer Service and Sales Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from guests and customers, providing technical support, and delivering exceptional customer service and sales experiences. You will work closely with our team to identify guest needs, plan itineraries, and provide solutions to technical issues. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls from guests and customers, providing technical support and resolving issues related to our website, Travel Agent Portal, FunShops, Online Check-in, and other pre-sale portals. Identify guest needs, plan possible itineraries, and provide solutions to technical issues, ensuring exceptional customer service and sales experiences. Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate to IT via opening service cases to troubleshoot escalations. Actively participate in ongoing feedback and coaching sessions from Quality Assurance, Coach, as well as contribute to team meetings and participate in ongoing training. Provide thorough and complete information regarding booking a cruise, including quoting various promotions and targeted offers. Take excellent notes on guest needs and submit future leads for the outbound team on calls that do not result in a booking. Upsell staterooms and explain and offer cruise vacation protection. Essential Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of previous sales and customer service experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of CCL's internal systems, including Navigator and Launchpad. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to easily connect with guests and provide solutions. A passion for travel and a desire to exceed customer expectations with guidance, knowledge, and exceptional service. Ability to provide thorough and complete information regarding booking a cruise, including quoting various promotions and targeted offers. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment. Knowledge of CRM software and other sales tools. Experience with troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
