The Opportunity

As an Accounts Receivable Agent Liaison, you will be responsible for analyzing an agent's account, contacting agents for past due amounts, requesting notices of cancellation, and posting checks as necessary. Key Responsibilities
Contact agents for payment prior to initiating direct notice of cancellation of policy
Send earned premium letters to agents and finance companies
Research and resolve checks posted incorrectly, ensuring accurate financial records
Handle incoming calls, emails, and faxes from agents, providing exceptional customer service and support
Collaborate closely with the supervisor regarding past due items, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing financial losses
Handle finance company calls and emails, negotiating payment terms and resolving disputes
Prepare payments to the Agent/Finance Companies, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Request Notices of Cancellation for unpaid policies, minimizing financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Post agent and finance company checks, wires, and ACHs, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing
Rescind paid policies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date policy information
Email Statements and Late Notices to agents, providing timely and transparent communication
Prepare Daily Cash Report, providing accurate and timely financial information to management
Review Producer Payable Report, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing financial performance
Essential Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
1 year of Accounts Receivable or Customer Service experience preferred, with a strong focus on financial management and customer service
Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with agents and finance companies
Strong problem analysis and resolution skills, with the ability to prioritize and respond to complex issues in a timely and effective manner
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with knowledge of accounting principles and practices desired
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Customer Service, with a strong focus on financial management and customer service
Experience working in the insurance industry, with knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience using accounting software and systems
Certification in Accounts Receivable or Customer Service, such as the Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) or the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)
