**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Registered Financial Customer Service Professional to join our team in Hartford, CT. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner. **Key Responsibilities**

As a Registered Financial Customer Service Professional, you will be responsible for:

* Answering incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party plan specialists
* Processing financial transactions upon request of callers
* Explaining past returns in comparison to economic environment; conveying information in accordance with FINRA / SEC guidelines
* Assisting participants through the navigation of the automated voice response system as well as the Web Site when executing financial transactions and/or initiating loans
* Running disbursement quotes, responding to managerial feedback, and attending meetings and training sessions
* Providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and escalating complex issues to management as needed

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Associate degree in business or related field preferred
* With no degree, an additional one to two years directly related experience is required
* 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial service-related field
* FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 required
* FINRA fingerprinting required
* Must be available to work during the hours of 7am-7pm. Overtime may be required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
* Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including retirement plans and investment options

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
* Knowledge of FINRA and SEC regulations
* Experience with automated voice response systems and web-based applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Compensation**

The salary range for this position is $40,800.00 - $56,025.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances, a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
