Key Responsibilities of the Role As a Regional Business Director, your primary objectives will include: Managing, developing, and inspiring a team of 5-8 Institutional/Community Oncology account managers to exceed sales goals, through regular performance reviews, coaching, and the identification of opportunities for professional development. Developing and updating the area business plan as needed, ensuring the implementation of all sales and marketing programs to achieve business objectives. Collaborating with the North America leadership team to identify best practices, share knowledge, and communicate effectively for maximum team and business impact. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through professional selling techniques, representing the company in a highly ethical and professional manner, and ensuring customer commitment to our products and services. Leading the team to deliver on targets, identifying high performers and competencies for success, and developing plans for the improvement of low performers, with appropriate documentation and follow-up. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related sales/account management, with a strong background in oncology and specialty sales. 5+ years of direct leadership experience , currently in a leadership role, with a proven track record of managing and inspiring high-performing teams. In-depth experience in Oncology , with a particular emphasis on breast cancer experience being strongly preferred. A strategic mindset , with the ability to develop and implement business plans, analyze market trends, and make informed decisions that drive business growth. The ability to take over a tenured team and drive success , through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management.
