We've assembled a team of experts certified in fields such as physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more. Our proprietary training program ensures that our Flexologists are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional stretching sessions. Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Recovery Personal Trainer to join our team in Glastonbury, Connecticut. As a Flexologist, you'll provide one-on-one assisted stretches to clients and lead guided group stretching classes for up to 6 participants. If you're passionate about stretching, mobility, and flexibility, and have a love for boutique fitness environments, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Motivate and encourage clients throughout their stretch sessions, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. Build and retain StretchLab memberships, ensuring that our clients feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us. Ensure client safety by applying proper stretch techniques and enforcing our policies, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all clients. Attend staff meetings and educational presentations, staying up-to-date on the latest stretching techniques and industry developments. Address member concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise. Assist with studio tours and sales, helping to promote our services and attract new clients. Maintain a strong social media presence, engaging with our online community and promoting our brand. Keep equipment clean and well-maintained, ensuring that our studio is always clean and organized. Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should have: A love of boutique fitness environments and a passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility. A preferred background in one of the following: Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, Pilates or Yoga Instructor, Dance Instructor. Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients. Fitness certification required. The ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people, with fantastic communication skills and empathy. A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies. The ability to commit to our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.
