Experienced Reading Teacher - Tutoring Specialist
Tutors needed! Specifically we are in need of certified reading teachers/tutors in the PST timezone. However, all timezones applicants are considered. Must be a certified teacher with several years of classroom experience. Must be available for 15-20 weekly hours. Subjects hiring for: Reading Intervention, ELA/ESL, Writing, Executive Functioning/Time Management. We work mostly with Pre K, K and Elementary students but do also take on struggling Middle School, High School, College Bound, and Adult Learners. Preferred hours are after school from 3 pm to 9 pm, Monday thru Friday. Weekends. You set your own schedule. Candidates MUST have an earned college degree and MUST be a Certified Teacher. Candidates MUST have expertise in the subject area they are applying for. This is a long-term, year round opportunity. 1099 Independent Contractor. Our clientele is a diverse mix of parents and students and we are looking to reflect this in the tutors we hire. We have offered remote tutoring since 2016. This is an independent contractor relationship. Summary As a remote, part-time Tutor, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment for students of various ages. Your core skills in tutoring and teaching will guide your approach, while your classroom experience and teaching certification will ensure effective instruction. You will utilize premium skills in curriculum development and learning technology to enhance educational outcomes. Additionally, your relevant experience with children and special education will enable you to cater to diverse learning needs, making a significant impact on student success and engagement.
