As a Ramp and Customer Service Agent, you'll be an integral part of this process, working closely with our customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations. **Job Summary** As a Ramp and Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including customer interactions, ramp operations, and baggage handling. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist customers with their travel needs, responding to queries, resolving issues, and providing information in a timely and professional manner. * Perform ramp operations, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshaling aircraft, and pushing back planes. * Conduct pre-flight safety checks and security inspections. * Board and disembark passengers, handling check-in, baggage claims, and other customer-related tasks. * Process and secure customer baggage, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise. * Work in a variety of weather conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require physical stamina. * Participate in paid training programs, which may require temporary travel. * Possess a valid driver's license and be able to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; secondary education preferred. * Valid driver's license and ability to work in the United States. * Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Basic computer skills and ability to learn modernized reservation systems. * Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Preferred Qualifications** * At least one year of customer service or community service experience. * Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and maintain a positive attitude. * Familiarity with airport operations and procedures. * Ability to communicate in multiple languages. **Work Environment and Culture** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
