Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute testing exercises for product development and conformance
Develop detailed test plans for all phases of product testing
Create test methodologies, experiments, and review results
Participate in Bill of Plan evaluations, CTS, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, CTR, and other relevant processes
Provide analysis from tests conducted and historical data
Create, maintain, and improve technical documents and formats
Develop test development schedules and test execution plans
Research test failures through data analysis and risk of failure in the field
Support warranty claims for internal data
Identify and assess potential risks in design/manufacturing that could impact customer quality
Collaborate with the engineering team, quality department, manufacturing, and production
Perform capability studies, gage R&R, and root cause analysis procedures
Support QA during product development/R&D and QC during manufacturing and production
Ensure knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and other quality validation processes
Audit and execute customer requirements SOR or Technical specifications/requirements
Coordinate engineering and pre-production builds
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
2+ years of experience in QA/QC, validation, testing, and product development
BS or equivalent science degree (or no degree with sufficient experience)
Strong understanding of quality engineering principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
Experience with quality management systems and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
Knowledge of statistical process control and quality tools (e.g., SPC, MSA, DOE)
Familiarity with product development and manufacturing processes
