Job Overview
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst and Information Expert at arenaflex, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You will work closely with our team to utilize data to create, present, and implement groundbreaking ideas and projects, as well as perform in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements. Your expertise will support our organization's objectives, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance, ultimately giving us a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders
Assist in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging issues and provide logical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility
Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding
Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements
Identify irregularities in processes through audits and communicate findings to the team
Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies
Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader


Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred
Ability to grasp complex issues, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework experience is preferred
Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred
Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
