Position Overview

Are you passionate about healthcare quality and driven by the desire to improve member outcomes? This is a full-time remote position open to candidates throughout the United States. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our quality control processes that meet both internal and external constituent expectations while ultimately improving member health outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for:


Driving Member Satisfaction: Implement focused, strategic outreach initiatives designed to enhance member engagement and satisfaction across our healthcare programs.
Campaign Development: Develop comprehensive member campaigns and manage detailed analysis reports to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with supplier management and procurement teams to implement successful member outreach campaigns and initiatives.
Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Quality Champion: Act as an advocate for quality excellence by serving as a quality champion, measuring and tracking the quality and effectiveness of work processes that impact client satisfaction, clinical value management, and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement: Consult and work cross-functionally to influence and promote positive change that continuously delivers quality service to both internal and external clients.
Compliance Audits: Conduct regular quality evaluations and audits to measure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Error Identification: Identify and distribute errors to business partners in a timely manner to facilitate quick resolution and process improvement.
Operational Support: Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and operations of assigned functional units to ensure smooth workflow and service continuity.
Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify and communicate trends observed throughout daily operations, providing actionable insights for leadership.
Special Projects: May perform or assist with special projects and reviews as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical or subject matter expertise regarding policies, procedures, and function-related programs and systems tools.


Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:


A minimum of 2 years of experience in member outreach, healthcare marketing, and/or health education
Proven customer service or call center experience
Strong experience working with data and analytical tools
Demonstrated ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2+ years of experience using personal computers, keyboard navigation, and navigating multiple systems and programs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
High school diploma or GED equivalent


Desired Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:


Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field
Experience with QNXT or similar healthcare management systems
Project management experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Previous experience in Medicaid or Medicare programs
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards

Base Salary: The pay range for this position is $19.52 - $36.06 per hour ($40,500 - $75,000 annually), depending on experience, education, and location.
