Job Overview and Key Responsibilities As a Public Tag Agent Specialist, you will play a critical role in the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by marketing and servicing customers with public tag agent services. This role is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, supporting office operations, and marketing products outside of the office via marketing calls and visits. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include: Understanding, promoting, and remaining current on Office of Motor Vehicle guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in policies and procedures Receiving customer payments, issuing receipts, and verifying reports of receipts for cash drawers Completing and reporting the Office of Motor Vehicles inventory in accordance with their policies Providing service to customers seeking to pay registration license taxes and issue registration certificates and license plates Developing and managing customer relationships and serving as a resource to current and potential customers Building and maintaining relationships with community organizations and local businesses Meeting and exceeding sales goals through new product sales, cross-selling, and retention of current customers Understanding, promoting, and remaining current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in customer service, sales, and operations. Some of the essential and preferred qualifications for this role include: High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) 0-2 years of experience in a related field (Preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, community organizations, and local businesses Skills and Competencies Required for Success In addition to the essential and preferred qualifications, there are several skills and competencies that are required for success in this role.
