About the Role: Provider Data Entry Specialist As a Provider Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information within our health plan system. Your attention to detail and efficiency in processing incoming requests will be vital in optimizing claims adjudication and ensuring seamless operations. This position demands a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and project management skills, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about data quality. Key Responsibilities: Receive and validate provider information from external sources for system updates, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Apply knowledge and experience to verify provided information, maintaining high data quality standards. Perform accurate data entry and maintenance of provider records in the computer system, emphasizing precision and timeliness. Conduct regular audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy, providing documented feedback when necessary. Support system/health plan integration efforts, training existing staff and new hires as needed. Assist in system-related testing activities, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and technologies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and optimize system performance. Maintain reliable attendance based on the agreed-upon schedule, adhering to blithequark's policies and confidentiality requirements. Requirements and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access. Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on timeliness and accuracy. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers. Understanding and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations. Willingness and ability to learn internal systems, particularly QNXT. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of managed care experience. Experience with data entry and management in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with health plan systems and operations.
