About the Role As a Project Manager at Home Depot, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects and initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of planning, execution, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You'll be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery and Execution (85%): Establish and execute effective communication with project partners and stakeholders Collaborate with stakeholders to lead project planning efforts, including defining project scope, deliverables, and timelines Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and identify and mitigate risks Work with Agile, Waterfall, or other project delivery methodologies to drive project success Create and maintain status reports, proactively managing issues and risks Resource and Financial Management (15%): Participate in vendor selection and onboarding processes in accordance with Home Depot policies Execute financial management and reporting for operational, product/business, technology, and vendor partners Track and analyze gross labor, capital spend, and non-labor forecasting for reporting and variance analysis Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Proven project management skills, with experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Jira Experience with project management execution in a modern software environment, preferably in a technical project management role Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Experience with project planning and execution, risk identification, and mitigation strategies A proven track record of working collaboratively with external teams and stakeholders The ability to make accurate inferences from financial documentation Experience with change management processes and activities within an IT organization What We Offer At Home Depot, we're committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package, career growth opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
