About the Job
As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch client care to advertisers and Business groups, managing challenges for Google advertisers across Display, YouTube, Google Analytics, Shopping, Google Ads Platform (GMP), and Mobile/Apps. Your expertise will be crucial in seizing, identifying, and resolving sensitive and complex issues across Google Ads products, identifying patterns of issues for business and clients, collaborating with Product Operations and Engineering to resolve product issues, and managing complex issues to goal to improve the client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional client care, advanced troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues and bugs from internal groups and Google advertisers
Understand the evolving AI-powered nature of the Google Ads ecosystem and the ability to communicate the ML model language with our internal and external clients
Engage with cross-functional partners, including business, Engineering, and Product groups, to build automation strategies and processes to identify and prevent product issues
Design and develop tools to enable the troubleshooting of client issues and inquiries to facilitate troubleshooting of standard use cases
Collaborate with Engineering teams on Infrastructure launches, updates, and migrations


Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in coding with a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python), working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, APIs), or performing data analysis and visualization using SQL-like query languages.

Essential Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience in coding with a broadly useful programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python), working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, APIs), or performing data analysis and representation using SQL-like query languages


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in system design/API, programming language including data structures and algorithms, AI fundamentals
Experience working with the Google ads platform and e-commerce products
Understanding of backend system concepts (e.g., caching, memory management), mobile application operating system, mobile application data analysis product, and ability to troubleshoot issues using debug log
Ability to interpret data to influence across cross-functional stakeholders in gTech and Engineering organizations and communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to investigate and troubleshoot labeling issues on websites using developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools)
