Job Overview As a Product Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for driving business value by developing and delivering high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, User Experience Designers, and business partners to drive product changes, identify new opportunities, and prioritize features that drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning (40%): Conduct in-depth research to understand customer and associate needs, identifying opportunities to deliver unparalleled shopping experiences Translate business goals and end-user needs into product strategy, communicating direction and priorities to development teams, matrixed teams, and third-party partners Develop and track key metrics and analytics to measure product value, refining the product backlog based on learnings and customer feedback Partner with Finance to understand financial needs and create business plans for new opportunities Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring research and market analysis, recommending innovative solutions and ensuring products remain best-in-class Delivery & Execution (30%): Ensure product alignment with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities, driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction Document, review, and ensure compliance with quality and change control standards Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing Create, prioritize, and accept user stories, incorporating them into release planning Make informed product decisions that drive value on a daily basis, identifying pros, cons, issues, and dependencies associated with features and enhancements People & Collaboration (30%): Foster collaboration with team members to drive value, collectively identifying and resolving impediments Act as a proponent of modern software development practices, advocating for the end-user and stakeholder by empathizing with and understanding their needs Regularly work with the product team to assess progress, disseminate lessons learned, and understand next steps Manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations, providing education and prioritization based on tangible benefits and user experience Communicate effectively at all levels, facilitating sessions and clearly articulating the product's long-term strategy to prioritize short-term action Essential Qualifications Must be eighteen years of age or older Must be legally permitted to work in the United States High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Product Management, preferably in a modern software development-based enterprise environment Experience with agile methodologies, specifically extreme programming (XP) principles, such as paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting priorities Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working with functional and technical team members at all levels Experience creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories, conducting user research and testing, and identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value Competencies To succeed as a Product Manager at blithequark, you'll need to demonstrate the following competencies: Business Insight: Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance organizational goals Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Communicates Effectively: Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of unique audience needs Cultivates Innovation: Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances Interpersonal Savvy: Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people Manages Ambiguity: Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear Nimble Learning: Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems Organizational Savvy: Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics Situational Adaptability: Adapting approach and demeanor in real-time to match shifting situation demands Empathy: Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders and responding with optimal resolutions Plans and Aligns: Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
